Course Information

The aim of the Data Engineering is to provide participants with the fundamental skills and hands-on experience needed to design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructures.

Course requirements

Minimum Academic Qualifications 

  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent (for entry-level participants).
  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields (for hands-on, practical learners).
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields (for those seeking to deepen their technical skills).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred for those seeking an in-depth, advanced understanding

Basic Knowledge - A basic understanding of mathematics and statistics is beneficial

Computer Skills - Basic proficiency in using computers (MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Language Proficiency - Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) to understand course materials and communicate effectively in group discussions.

 

Prerequisite (if applicable)

  • Basic understanding of programming concepts (preferably in Python or Java).
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) is advantageous but not mandatory.
