Ultra Pure Water (UPW) is highly purified water with all contaminants removed, including organic and inorganic compounds, particulates, and dissolved gases. It is essential for wafer cleaning, rinsing, and surface conditioning, and is carefully produced, distributed, and controlled to support these processes.

Ultra Pure Water Filtration Process

Ultra Pure Water (UPW) for Wafer Cleaning introduces talents to the fundamentals of ultrapure water in semiconductor covering raw water treatment, UPW filtration technologies, system design and operational best practices. The training offers the way UPW is produced, distributed and controlled to support critical wafer cleaning processes.

Competency is assessed through basic system operation tasks, water quality analysis exercises and a short knowledge-based assessment.

What is the K-Youth Development Programme?
The K-Youth Development Programme is an initiative by Khazanah Nasional Berhad designed to boost the employability of Malaysian youth by providing industry-focused training and on-the-job placements in key economic sectors.
Who is eligible to apply?
Malaysian citizens aged 18–30 years old.
Fresh graduates, diploma or degree holders.
Unemployed or underemployed individuals.
Passionate and committed to learning & career growth.
Is there any fee to join?
No. The programme is fully sponsored, including training and certifications. You just need to meet the eligibility and selection criteria.
What does the programme include?

When is the next intake?
The next intake is in May 2026. Applications are open now on a rolling basis — early submission is encouraged!
Will I get a job after completing the programme?
